In some projects Jira issues may be complicated and have a long life.
We are seeking a feature like notes where we can store our information/details for task related and it should be visible to others team members as well.
This will help us to team members to track the activity related to task and other work item.
Hi @Sunny Gupta I may be missing something here, but it sounds a lot you want want to add comments to an issue. This function is built into Jira and doesn't require any plugins. This is explained here.
@Sunny Gupta,
You could check out this plugin if you only have Jira (Cloud) installed. This one is available for both Jira Cloud and Jira Server. You'll know if you have Jira Cloud if your URL is in the form https://xxxx.atlassian.net.
Confluence is a great place to store notes related to projects, but if you aren't going to purchase Confluence, one of the plugins linked could be a good option for you!
Thanks,
Kian

Here's a marketplace plugin that might satisfy your ask.

Hi @Craig Nodwell
Thanks for the update but we don't have such plugins in our current project.
There are only a few plugins available and I believe that they do not meet our requirements.

Hi @Sunny Gupta welcome to the Atlassian Community!
For the notes: Do you only have Jira or also Confluence as Atlassian product installed on your instance?
In Jira projects, tasks can have sub-task which can be assigned to different team members where they can track their activity.

Hi @Dave Mathijs
Thanks for the response.
We would like to update you that we are using only JIRA in our instance and about the sub-task related option we already aware of it, but We need option like sticky notes as provided by Microsoft.
The same feature we are looking for JIRA, which is also shareable among team members.

Then you'll need to connect/integrate with a third-party tool, either via the Atlassian Marketplace of via integration.
It is not available out-of-the box.

Hi @Sunny Gupta
I understand that you're facing challenges with tracking complex, long-lived Jira issues. I believe I have a solution that might be helpful.
While it's still in its MVP stage, Personal Notes lets you add notes about your work within the issue, track actions you've taken to resolve customer queries, or simply store any information relevant to that specific issue.
You can find more details about the app here.

Hi Team,
We can see all tickets with their correct status in the JIRA Active sprints dashboard, along with some feature details such as type, story point, and priority.
Does the application offer a feature that displays the latest comments in addition to the above features?

The latest comment would clutter the cards on the board. Just click to open the "card back" and see the issue comments.
You can add up to 3 additional fields on a card.

Hi @Dave Mathijs ,
Can we modify the card? example if I need only latest comment instead of others will that possible?
