I have a trial of JIRA Service Desk enabled on an in-house demo instance of JIRA and my People tab is not visible from within Service Desk. Is there something I am missing with permissions?
I have the same problem! How do we configure agents, customers, and collaborators without the People's tab?
I was having the same problem with JIRA Service Desk trial on a cloud instance until I figured out that I was in the wrong Getting Started Guide. Now that I'm in the right one, I see that I don't have a People tab after all

Does your user have the Administer Projects permission for that project?
