We use 5 different status' denoted by a number in the first character. e.g., "1. To Do"; "2. Devel"; "3. QA" and so on. Jira appears to display the status counts randomly, e.g., 3, 2 4, and so on.
Any way to get them re-sequenced in the order above (btw it would be ASC since there is a # in the title). I have tried the SEQUENCE parameter, but perhaps I am not using it correctly. Also, I re-ordered the filter but that does not work either. The status totals are correct, but managenet want the stats categories to be sequenced. ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOMED!
Hi @[deleted],
I'm not aware of any way this can be done using the built-in Jira pie chart, but I was also frustrated that you couldn't change the order of the pie chart segments, so I built an app that allows you to re-order segments and change the colors.
It's called Custom Charts for Jira and you can check it our right now on our interactive app playground: https://www.oldstreetsolutions.com/custom-charts-for-jira
For the ordering you need you can use the drag-and-drop feature.
There's also other chart types and some advanced features such as Chart By Custom JQL.
I hope that offers a solution to your problem :)
Kind regards,
Tom - Custom Charts Product Owner
Although it appears to work, we have not downloaded the new Pie Chart app as of yet. Basically I am awaiting management review and approval. Will get back to you later!
