OAuth customer key in Jira

I am following the tutorial from here and I wanted to know what is the correct way to generate/create the consumer key.

Thanks for example but my question is how to create a consumer key(there was mistake in question was written as customer key ) . Is there a certain generator or is it just some random characters?
