Edit:
Please vote on this 2012 issue which resolves my question below!
Hello,
My company uses several Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence.
When I'm viewing any page in Confluence, there is a 'bell' icon in the upper right corner next to the search bar which displays Notifications. Mostly, these are comments on tickets from Jira. You have the ability to view the comment in full and even reply, all from within the Confluence notification dropdown menu.
This feature is FANTASTIC!
However, it's not available in Jira, just Confluence!
The bell icon simply isn't there in Jira at all, and I've poured through every link to find a setting for it without success.
That notifications dropdown would be incredibly useful for my workflow and I'd like to know how it can be accessed in Jira.
My company is using Jira 7.8.0 and Confluence 6.7.1
Thanks very much!
Yes I agree with you that this would be good.
There is a feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-30286
Please vote on it.
Thanks, I voted and commented
