Hi Experts ,

Need your help in fixing minor sprint issue. In a scrum board in which only project A is mapped and for that project user is having manage sprint permission, and user able to see Start Sprint but not able to see Edit sprint option. I am not sure why it's showing edit sprint option even after having Manage Sprint permission.

Is same name sprint is available in other projects that's why not showing edit option?

Hi @Vikrant Yadav ,

When you have a complex filter query mapped to the board, Jira will require users to have the 'Manage Sprints' permission for all projects in the filter — essentially, you'll need to manually set users to have this permission for all projects.

More details about manage sprint permission is in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-manage-sprints-permission-for-advanced-cases/

Hi @Vikrant Yadav ,

You are right if the sprint name is not unique and already same name used by other projects then permission is also required in the other projects.

You can create an unique sprint then move the issues from current sprint to new one.
