Not able to perform any admin actions after upgrading jira version

Deleted user July 23, 2018

Hi Team,

We have upgraded our jira version from 7.0.11 to 7.1 and then 7.6.2

Now whenever we are browsing the  Addons/System settings / User management / Applications / Issues  or any Admin privileged required pages, we are asked to provide password again and again, inspite of we (user-id) being part of Jira Administrator group.

This issue is occuring after we upgraded our jira version. Also, We tried updating our xisting SAML plugin also but this is happening if there is no SAML plugin installed in system.

Please Look into the issue as high prority as this is our production space and so many clients will get affect with this. So we need immediate response over this.

Please find attached screenshot for the issue(as mentioned this issue occurs for all the userid which is in admin group that we are not able to perform any admin action).

Immediate response will be appreciated.
Thanks!jiraLogin-issue.PNG

That's normal. It's there for additional security.

Is it happening all over again!? Are you stuck in the screen?
In this case:

What about the logfiles? Looks like you are able to log in but have an issue with your websudo.
1. Get your logfiles ready and post the part you're getting, trying to access the admin functions
2. Try to disable websudo and restart your instance
jira-config.properties
jira.websudo.is.disabled = false

Otherwise: totally usual. Called websudo. Here for security
