Not able to hide issues even after they are set to Done

Hello 
Creating a new question for more visibility. I am not able to hide the Old issues which have been completed months ago and have not been touched since then. 
I did select the option to Hide issues after 1 week in Configure -> General -> 

Hide completed issues older than1 week1 

The Done Column is showing all the issues on the board that have been done in the last one year of the project. The Done column is the last column on the Board 
Can someone help please.

Hi Shravan,

Is this a new board? If so that’s probably the issue. They stay on the board based on the date the issue was moved to Done on the board and not the actual date it moved to the Status. So if the board is new then they should disappear after a week from when you created the board.

The other thing you can do is modify your board filter to not include issues in that status.

Can you show us the Columns configuration page for this board?

Also, which column are the issues in that you expect to be hidden?

Generally the "Hide completed issues" feature applies to the issues in the column farthest to the right on the board, regardless of what statuses are mapped to that column. It doesn't specifically apply to issues in a "done" status unless those are in the right-most column.

I am expecting the 841 issues in Done to be hidden. Atleast the ones which are more than a week old. Done is the right most column on my board as you can see
