Moving gadgets in dashboard error

When moving gadgets inside of a Jira Cloud dashboard, I get the error message "Sorry, your changes to this Dashboard could not be saved. Your dashboard may be out of sync with the server: please reload the page."

The response from the server is a bit more descriptive, from a failed (400) call to PUT /layout:

"Error changing dashboard layout: Gadgets cannot be removed by changing the layout, they need to be removed explicitly"

Any ideas?

I am also facing the same issue, does anyone from JIRA has any ideas as to what might cause the issue? I changed browsers and also disabled all the extensions I have been using but the issue still remains.
