We are running jira v7.9.2 and we have users authenticating against an Apple LDAP server. We plan to migrate all of these users to a Windows AD server. We have it working in a test environment and the migration worked well but one thing we never checked was what happened to users that were logged in at the time we pressed the convert/migrate button.
Anybody know what happens to users that are logged in and are due to be converted when we press the button to change their authentication type?
Do their accounts get ignored?
Do their accounts get converted and the next time they login they use their new AD account?
