Hi!
I am about to migrate a JIRA 3.13 installation to 5.X. As I far as I can understand, I have to go via 4.X in order to accomplish that?
I'have succesfully imported my XML-backup during the installation of 4.4, no errors were reported. But I am unable to login. All my users are in the (brand new) postgresql database.
The old implentation was using LDAP. I do not have the LDAP server available in my test lab, is there any way I can get around this?
This is what i get from the atlassian-jira-security.log:
2012-11-29 14:16:44,377 http-9090-5 anonymous 856x31x1 7nc8as 192.168.56.1 /login.jsp login : 'larserik' tried to login but they do not have USE permission or weren't found. Deleting remember me cookie. 2012-11-29 14:16:44,409 http-9090-5 anonymous 856x31x1 7nc8as 192.168.56.1 /login.jsp The user 'larserik' has FAILED authentication. Failure count equals 20
It seems that user membership data is not getting migrate, may be you can review the page about https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/Migrating+JIRA+to+Another+Server, probably need to add the osuser.xml in the right place then restore the backup again.
Cheers :)
