Limiting the number of issues returned from the search - JIRA 4.4.4

Hi,

We have the current limit of 1000 issues to be displayed when making a search which results more than 1000 search results.

http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/Limiting+the+number+of+issues+returned+from+a+search+view+such+as+an+RSS+feed

We followed the up and set the jira-config.properties file in the jira home directory and put the following values

jira.search.views.default.max = 3000
jira.search.views.max.limit = 3000

But still we are not able to see these number of issues from search criteria.

I have attached jpm.xml (though had to rename it to .txt file).

(jpm.xml.txt)

Please help me in this regard.

Thanks

Have you restarted jira after making the changes? Configuration files are only read on jira startup.

Thanks, Yes after the JIRA is started, we are able to get some changes. Now the issue is coming is that when we search the issues, we see a maximum of 1000 at a time, but when we download in an excel whatever is the searched number say 2400, we can download all the 2400. Please give any comments. Thanks
