LDAP integration with jira

Hi ,

I am trying to configure Ldap with jira. I was able to generate osuser.xml as we are using jira as an standalone app, therefore I have placed it in <install-dir>/WEB-INF/classes/osuser.xml and restarted the app server. After restarting the server I tried to login with my LDAP id but I was not let through giving an error username password incorrect.

Note: I have id in jira as well.

Please let me now if I'm doing something wong or I'm missing any steps.

Did you try to follow the debugging method suggest from the KB if fail authenticate in LDAP?

What version of Jira are you using? What receipt have you been using for the configuration (e.g. what source of information)
