Jira won't start after upgrade to 8.5.1 - Tempo plugin failure

Roberto Cornacchia November 8, 2019

I upgraded from Jira Software 7.13.0 to 8.5.1.

Everything went perfectly, but Tempo plugin now fails and Jira refuses to start.

1 plugin failed to load during JIRA startup.

'com.tempoplugin.tempo-plan-core' - 'System Plugin: Tempo Planning API' failed to load.

I have removed the jar files, and started it.

Now I will try to reinstall (a newer version of) Tempo and hope it works

OK, I had forgotten to upgrade the plugin before upgrading Jira.

Solved now
