Jira Email puller still using old email address for incoming.
Email puller was stopped working due to authentication issue faced on email server side, after that email puller was stopped and kept for sometime.
I removed all the incoming/outgoing mail settings/mail handlers and configured new accounts. Outgoing is working with new address but incoming still trying to use the old address. I can see it is in the catalina log also.
ERROR ServiceRunner [c.a.m.incoming.jepp.puller] Messaging Error when MailPullerWorker pulls emails from email@example.com
Also i can see some old email address details in some of AO tables in the DB.
Any idea ?
@Suranga Weeraratne This is an old bug that has never been fixed. We just end up stopping Jira, changing the password in the DB of the old addresses, and restarting Jira. This way it will not be able to pull the email anymore and you do not have to worry about it.
