Jira automatically redirects to filter page

Hai July 10, 2013

Hi. I'm using Jira On Demand at https://qasymphonyqa.atlassian.net and always encounter the below behavior: 1. Login to Jira with "remember me" enabled 2. View a filter 3. Close the browser, and reopen it. 4. Go to https://qasymphonyqa.atlassian.net 5. Jira automatically redirects me to the last filter I has viewed This behavior is not useful, especially when sometimes I want my users go directly to create issue page (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Creating+Issues+via+direct+HTML+links). Is there any way to overcome it? Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Try to clear the cache of the browser. This may help you I think, because your preferences would have been saved in a cookie, so try to clear your cache of the browser. If it doesn't work. Please let me know. Thanks!

Hope this helps!

Hi. It should not be saved in cookie. I login with a different browser, and Jira still redirect me to that filter page. Is it a feature or a bug?
