When we first created all Sprint 5, the start date was from March 20th, however, we changed the date to align with overall schedule. Now, it shows correctly in the backlog view March 19th, however, at JQL issue view, it pulls the old date. This is messing up our velocity report.  How can this Jira bug be fixed?

Hi @Yue_Wang and welcome to the Community!

I don't think this is messing up your search results. A JQL filter just returns the issues that have the selected sprint linked in the Sprint custom field. When you search by sprint, the sprint date is not considered at all when it comes to the issues returned.

Most likely, there is some kind of caching issue that causes the old date being displayed there, but that should not impact your search result.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Walter, how to clear the cache?

We're using Velocity Report plugin and it shows the wrong date, only by re-creating the sprints, JQL and Velocity Report could show the correct updated dates.
