Jira Cloud - TeamManaged Project - one project - two diffren priority schema dedicated to Issue Type

Dear all

Do you think it is possible to define two different priority schemes in one project and assign each of them to a dedicated issue type?

I would like to have a separate priority list for bugs and another for all other issue types.

I would appreciate a hint.

Hey @Emilia KASPRZYK,

We don't have a way to associate a project to multiple priority schemes.

However, you can consider creating a custom drop-down field (like priority_bug) with the required options and use it with one of the issue types.

This field should be added to the bug create/edit/view screens only.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Karan

If you want this change for Team-managed project, you can create the field within the required team-managed project.

This way the new field will be available within that team-managed project only and will avoid confusion.

Thx Karan,

That was my guess. I was also thinking of a dedicated field however was hoping that maybe there was a way.

Thx again.
