JIRA migration from cloud

Nawal Sharma April 16, 2019

Hi Team,

We have multiple JIRA instance in cloud like  JIRA1.com JIRA2.com and JIRA3.com .But now we are going for on premises JIRA and purchased license from ATLASSIAN. .

1. We installed fresh JIRA on premises.

2. Successfully migrate one instance of JIRA1.com to on premises with Import and Export ,

But not sure how to import other 2 instances ? Because with Backup / restore all the existing data will be erased.

Please suggest how can we migrate all the projects in JIRA2 and JIRA3 instances.

Hello,

You would need to create two more Jira Servers, move there the two Jira Cloud instances and then use plugins like Project Configurator or Configuration Manager to merge these instances with the first one.

Thanks Alex...Any other option ? Like any migration tool available for this scenario ?

I am afraid, nothing else is available yet.

Ok Alex.

One more suggestion required :

Before Migration we have START DATE & RELEASED DATE of the Sprint.

After migration START DATE is Blank , though we can see the respective Start Date in entities.xml

Thank you in Advance.
