JIRA creation email notification modification

Using Jira 5.2.11

Currently when we create a Jira the email header contains the Action / Jira #/ Summary

The body of the email contains a link to Jira / Issue Type / Assignee / Components / Created / Description / Project / Priority / Reporter

Because our illustrious staff practically refuses to go into Jira, because it's painstakenly difficult for them, is there a way for the body to also include the Custom Field 'Customer' which uses a User Picker and 'Phone' which uses a Text Field (<255 characters)?
