Issues in Epic not showing on Issue Navigator

Hi,

I have an Epic which contains multiple stories - all in the same project.

If I use the issue navigator to search for any issues in that project, it only lists the Epics and not the stories within it as well

I have just tried the simplest JQL where project = project_name but only the epics show up and not the stories - yet the Keys are the same.

Please advise.

Have you tried to reindex the single project?

We have tried but it fails. We doing an index on the entire instance to see if that resolves the issue. I will provide feedback if that works or not.

Can you show a screenshot of the Epic and the stories it contains?  Properly redacted, of course.

There is epic, project name and fix versions fields filled in also.

This could be done via Bulk Changes.

• Select the child stories.
• Edit them as bulk
• Change the Epic and Save.
