Hi,

Why if I add in issue navigator columns "planned release" I dont get the result at all. Its a custom field, vesrsion picker type.

Is if because it custom field issue navigator cant generate me a result?

It's probably because the custom field only applies to SOME of the issue being returned by the search.

The Issue navigator will only display fields available to ALL issues in the search results.

If the "Planned Release" is not being displayed, it's probably because it's not available to some of the issues.

Restrict the search & you will probably see it.

But.... I have to ask, why don't you use FixVersion? If you use you're own custom field for the same informationm, then a lot of Jira functionality will not work with your data (Project Version Tabs, GreenHopper)
