Issue Security JIRA NextGen

My Admins came back to me. My issue relates to JIRA NextGen, any ideas on how to resolve this issue for JIRA NextGen?

Is there a way to add the "JIRA Automation" account to my Project Admin Group?

Issue Level Security is not currently avilable for Next-gen projects. You can follow and vote for the Feature Request here:

Issue Security is available for NextGen, I am currently using it and that is what is causing my issue.

How did you connect it to the project? What steps did you take?

No idea, the feature just appeared.

I noticed the padlock symbol appeared on my JIRA Software last Friday and I started using it. I assumed the feature is now generally available and was released to Customer by Atlassian.

I don't see Issue Security in there anywhere in your list. How are you accessing it?

The padlock icon appears in every JIRA Ticket I create. This started happening about 2 weeks ago. Prior to that I did not have a padlock icon. See image below. Thanks

You should probably go ahead and open a support ticket with Atlassian.
