Is there a way to automate a linked jira?

My situation is this: We're using Service desk and clients are putting in new issues. Those issues, if they require development get cloned and moved to a different project. When the development is complete and resolved, I would like some automated way to update the original service desk Jira, without having the Developer have to go into it and update it manually. Is there a way to do that?

Has these three Post functions for workflows:

• Perform Transitions In Linked Issues
• Perform Transitions In Linked Issues Whith Issue Type
• Perform Sub Task Transition

You will need to set as parameter the transitionId that you want to be preformed in "original service desk Jira".
