Is it possible to set unregistered reporter to the JIRA issue?

Hi,

I want to create automatic system of creating JIRA issues from my site. Not all my users are JIRA users, so I just want to see their name in "Reporter" field. I suppose, I just need the possibility to write plain text in the "reporter" field.

The reporter field is a field that points at a user's account.  If the user doesn't have an account, there's nothing for it to point to.

The best you can do is add another (text) field to capture the users information when they don't have an account.
