Incoming Mail SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out

Hello,

I'm tring to setting outgoing mail with a gmail business smtp but during testing I get the error "SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out".

I tried to increment timeout value to 1000000 but the error persists.

This is a screen of my configuration:

Please check if you gmail mail box is setup to allow applications to connect.

Settings > Accounts and Import > Other Google Account Settings > Apps With Account Access >Allow less secure apps

This should be on

This means your Jira server can't reach your email server.  You'll need to check the route between them, looking for firewalls and security policies.
