Importing multiple github projects into one JIRA project

When I try to import multiple github project issues into a single jira project, the first one is imported correctly and then all the issues of the second one are skipped because jira thinks they already exist.

So what I am having to do instead is either create multiple projects in JIRA and do a 1-to-1 with github or first import into a dummy JIRA project and then bulk move them to the correct project. Either way it is a waste of time and JIRA should correctly import all issues into a single project.

According to this guide you should contact Atlassian Support if you encounter any issues so I would suggest you to get in touch with them and post the proposed solution here when you get it solved.
