Import using CSV and date filters defaulting to a JAN entry for all dates

Andy Nabbs June 21, 2024

Hello, I have created a templated .csv where I have custom formatted the dates for import to dd/mmm/yyyy and have created an import .txt file where i have set the template in JIRA to dd/mmm/yy for import.  The project imports correctly, with the correct day and year but the month is always JAN?

Not sure whats going on, hopefully the new tool (30th June) may fix issues.

Hi,

I think you should MM in capital

SimpleDateFormat (Java Platform SE 8 ) (oracle.com)

Mohammed tried UPPER CASE for the import filter, picks date and year but defaults the rest to JAN.  Any idea when new tool (even under BETA)  will be available?
