We are using JIRA v6.1.1 with JIRA Agile v6.3.7, and the majority of our user base is required to use Internet Explorer 8. There are a couple of errors that are occuring when using JIRA Agile in IE8. I checked to make sure that we are not using compatibility mode in IE8. Are there any other known issues with IE8 that may cause JIRA Agile Reports and Gadgets to not load?
When I attempt to view the Report Mode of an Agile Board in IE8, the page fails to load and the browser has an error. The Plan Mode and the Work Mode pages load correctly in IE8.

Similarly, when I try to view a Dashboard in IE8 that contains Agile Gadgets (such as Days Remaining in the Sprint or Sprint Burndown) I get an error. The non-Agile Gadgets will load, but the Agile Gadgets do not display properly (only unformatted text is displayed).

we're also facing these issues with certain gadgets (specifically: 'Agile Sprint Burndown gadget', 'Agile Days Remaining In Sprint Gadget' and 'Agile Wallboard Gadget') not showing any content anymore...
We're on JIRA 6.2.1, using IE9.
In Crome all is well, but most of our users have to use IE9...
I updated the JIRA Agile add on to version 6.3.11 in our test server and the issue with reports in IE 8 appears to have been somewhat resolved in the newer version of the add-on.
I can view the reports mode on agile boards, but the same issue of the Agile Dashboard Gadgets not displaying still persists.

Steven -
I tried this on IE 8 just now and had the same problem. Report mode is definitely busted in IE 8. We're on Jira 6.2. Our devs use FF/Chrome/IE11 but I was able to repro this on a testing server. I hate haveing to code for IE 8 ...

Hi Steven,
I found two known issues that may be related to the error you're seeing:
You may want to check the resolution of those KBs.
I hope it helps.
Cheers
