I want to see progression of subtasks attached to my User Story

I created a user story

I created several subtasks attached to this user story

How can I see the evolution of the status of my user story depending on the subtasks attached to it?  

• When a subtask is In Progress, I want that the status of my user story change to In Progress
• When all subtasks are Done, I want that the status of my user story change to Done

How can I see on my user story the estimated time of all subtasks related to it and the remaining time as well?

Hi @Nathael Dreymann,

The part about synchronising status, automation is your best friend. With 2 automation rules, you can keep the statuses between your story and sub-tasks in sync. Both rules are available in the template library:

• When a sub-task moves to in progress, do the same for the parent story 
• Transition parent story to done when all sub-tasks are done 

To be consistent with the remaining estimate of your story it is best to also update the remaining estimate of the story when work is logged against the sub-tasks. As a recommendation, add your estimates to the story (not the sub-tasks) and log time against the sub-tasks to avoid estimates being counted twice.
