I want to make a field required when it's transitioned

I need to turn a field required (the time tracking field) when the issue go to a specific status

What type of project are you using? Get that information by finding your project in the View All Projects page under the Projects menu, and look at the Type column.

Do you want to force the users to enter a new Work Log during the transition? Or do you want to confirm that at some point prior to the transition some work was logged?

The solution will depend on what type of project your are using, and which of the above two options you want to implement.

Thanks Trudy for the quick response. We're using a Company-managed software. And for the 2nd question, I want the user to be forced to log in into the time tracking when transitioning.

Hello @Kalliu Gaspar 

You will need to create a new Screen that includes the "Log Work" field.

The modify the workflow where you want to require the entry. Associate the screen to the transition where you want to apply that requirement.

When you find the applicable workflow, open it with the editor.

In the Text view of the workflow, click on the name of the transition you want to affect.

Click the Edit button.

Select the screen you created, the click Update.

Then Publish the workflow.
