Hi,

I want to add more statuses for Releases such a Integration, UAT. Can JIRA admin can do this?

Is there an option to manage releases to different environments in JIRA board?

Hello @xugar test

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are you talking about the Release /Versions that can be create in the Releases screen, where the "statuses" are Unreleased, Released, and Archived?

If yes, then no you cannot add "statuses" to that list.

The solution mentioned by @vikram applies to issues, not Releases/Versions as I described.

Hi @xugar test

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

Yes, admin can do this with workflow creation or by creating custom fields and attach them to your schema, but it depends on the workflows standardization according to your organization.

If you do not have org/company managed workflow and if you have project or application workflows you can modify accordingly or you can create a new schema with the required status and attach that workflow to your project.

follow the below simple steps

1) copy existing workflow and then make your changes to the new workflow.

2) create a new workflow scheme and use that new workflow you created.

3) go to project settings for your project, click on Summary, click on the workflow scheme name, choose Use a different scheme, select your schema and publish the workflow.

also you can go through the below knowledge documents

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/how-to-create-workflows/

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-workflow-schemes/

Let me know if it helped.
