I want ot remove an active Project form the JIRA dashboard

I believe that there is a setitng someplace that can hide a project from the JIRA dashboard

Hi Mark,

This question is a bit vague, as JIRA can show projects on the dashboard via the drop down menu or via gadgets.

If you're talking about the 'Projects' gadget, you can simply modify the gadget configuration to exclude the mentioned project. Other than that, the only method to hide a project is on a global scale: removing a user from have the 'Browse Project' permission level. Of course, this would mean that a user has no view access at all to a project.
