I set defaults for two custom fields. Why does one field's default not appear in a transition form?

I also set the default in a Rule in the create transition, but I get the same result.

Hi @Phil Bustin,

The second CF has a context defining the Issue Types and Project. Have you checked if you're in the right project and transitioning the same issue types present in the Context? If neither the default value nor automation is working, that may be the problem.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,

Melo

After I followed the steps you suggested, the field appeared, and then, I didn't see the field because it was at the bottom.  I searched for and found the answer to how to move the fields in the screen.
