Html Render not working

Nyall Dieter Barnes April 7, 2020

Hello. I am wondering if you can help with this question.

Basically we have a single select CustomField called RAG Status. The options for the field used to use html as the options, like as follows:
<span class+'aui-lozenge aui-lozenge'>success>Green</span>
However, since we updated the plugins, the html is not being rendered.
I noticed that the system plugin to allow HTML rendering was disabled, however activating it didn't fix the issue.
Our current work around is just to have plain text.

Is it not rendering on new issues as well as previous?

What plugins did you update?

Hi Majken

It is both the previous and new issues. Basically, the html is no longer being rendered.

The list of plugins include:

Tempo Timesheets 10.12.0

Portfolio 3.21.0

Agile Velocity Chart Gadget 3.2.0

eazyBI Reports and Charts for Jira 5.3.2

JSU Automation Suite for Jira Workflows 2.21.0

Links Hierarchy 5.4.2

Project Configurator 3.1.8

Adaptavist ScriptRunner for JIRA 5.7.0.1-p5

SSO for Atlassian Data Center 4.0.2

Secure Login for JIRA 2.6.3.2

Unfortunately, I am not the one responsible for the Jira Plugin updates at my company.

I have tried to find the problem best I could. Was just wondering if anyone has had an issue like this before?

Thanks

May you check if you have upgraded to JIRA 8.7 or higher?

I´ve had the same issue, looking in the release notes told that HTML rendering is disabled by default.

Thank you so much. I found the new setting and it works 100%.
