How to setup jira with perforce using p4dtg?

Hi

i want to setup jira with Perforce, i would like to operate perforce job in jira.

like job created in perforce to be visable in jira and i can updated it from jira; a job created in jira shd be seen in perforce and changes in perforce shd apply in jira.

Can i get a details process on how to do this;

1) P4DTG; method in detail configuration

2) Perforce job integrator in detail configuration

i would like to evaluate the work and go for perchase.

There is a pdf at perforce's website for p4dtg

Note a key item is to ensure the character sets match between JIRA and perforce.  If one is unicode and the other isn't, then p4dtg will not sync between the two.

just google dtg configure.  that's a generic page page.

Note if you want to 'mirror' a select field, The number of possible values much be identical for Perforce and the defect tracker.

there is a table there that describes what things need to be done to enable 'mirror'ing. in the Mapping Data Between Perforce and Defect Trackers

Thanks for the info. I would First know and try the Perforce P4dtg Method.
