We want to introduce Jira in our company. We have a total of 40 people and 4 different teams (3 development teams and marketing). My idea is to work with program initiatives and epics. There are many overlaps and dependencies – for example, Development Team 1 needs to complete something before Development Team 2 can continue. The marketing team defines own to dos on how they want to communicate new features related to this topic. All these requirements and dependencies should be consolidated in the epics.
Should I create a single software project, set up epics there, and build different boards where the different teams can work / only see their doings? Or can I also create separate projects, so that, for example, marketing gets its own project but can still see the epics from the development project and link their own tickets to them?
I would really appreciate your help in making this first decision…
Bonus question: Moreover we want to use roadmap features. Is Standard plan enough for uns or do we need Premium?
