How to remove announcement banner ?

In Global administration banner we tried to remove banner , but there is no options to remove, please guide us on how can we remove announcement banner.

Hi @Namrata S Dyaganatti 

You can hide the banner, rather than remove the text from it:

1. Go to Settings (cog icon in top-right) > System
2. Select Announcement banner from the left-hand menu
3. Toggle the Show banner to users option to OFF

Should hide it / turn it off.

announcement banner is something that appears in each JIRA page (project/issues pages and administration section) and it can't be removed in a specific section.
