How to prevent user story points changing the Resolution to "Fixed"?

Every time when adding user story points to user story, the Resolution will automatically get changed to "Fixed."  Does anyone has the same issue?  Does anyone know how to fix it?

This widget could not be displayed.

One of your administrators has added the field "resolution" to the Edit screen for the issue type.

You need to remove that as soon as possible.

Resolution should only ever be put on transition screens.

But "Resolution" field is necessary.  Is there way to prevent "Resolution" field get changed?
