How to disable attachment download in Jira?

Hi,

How do we disable users from downloading the attachments in Jira?  They should be able to view the attachment, but should not be able to download the attachment. We are on JIRA 7.x server edition.

There are some directives and javascript tricks you can inject into pages that ask the user's browser to not allow downloads.

But I'm afraid that behind the scenes, "view" is the same as "download".  If you want a user to see something in their client, you have to give them the data for the browser to render.  Which means they've downloaded it, and it's always possible to get a copy.
