How to copy over custom field values from Original to the new ticket using 'Create on Transition'

I am using 'Create on Transition' from project 1 to create a new ticket in project 2.

It appears to copy the summary and description as expected but NOT the custom fields. I tried both options (Copy parent, Copy original issue). What am I missing?

scratch that.. Found the answer.. I was using "=" ins place of ":"
