Hello all!

We use the Backlog to house our completed "Investigation" tickets in a sprint titled "Investigations". Ideally we would like to mark these tickets as Done, but still see the list of completed investigations in the backlog.

Now we do not see any of the investigation tickets, as "Done" tickets do not appear in the backlog.

1. How can I ensure that "Done" tickets DO appear in the backlog

2. How else /where else can I organize all of our Investigation tickets in one place so that we can see them in a list, even though they are "Done"?

Hi @Abigail Erkes and welcome to the Community!

1. you can't and you shouldn't. Done issues in a backlog would - in proper Latin - be a contradictio in terminis. The backlog is a list of items that still need to be done. So having done items in there would only clutter your view on work that matches the definition.

2. Luckily, you can always list all your work in Jira (regardless of status) in the Issues view. You should be able to find that in your project, as well as under Filters > search all issues. You can freely create any type of filter for yourself there that you can even save, use to build dashboards from and so on.

Hope this helps!
