Our support agents use signatures (such as Best regards, ...) while exchanging comments with customers. For this purpose they use the Canned responses button.
Is there any way (maybe some apps) to use automatic predefined signatures? Like in Gmail, for example?
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
When it comes to agent signatures, currently the only option is to use Canned Responses.
For Cloud, there is a feature request suggesting to add this option:
For Server, it was added on version 3.7:

Hello @Prabhu Prabhakar,
Thank you for reaching out to the Atlassian Community!
When it comes to signatures in Jira, currently there are only suggestions for Jira Service Management.
There was a suggestion for Jira Software/Core, but it was closed as “Won’t fix”.
With this said, feel free to raise a new suggestion on jira.atlassian.com (project JSWCLOUD) adding more details about why this feature is important for your environment.
Jira does not support E-Mail signatures. That's why we use the "E-Mail This Issue" App as a Mail Handler. This app vastly improves Jiras E-Mail capabilities, including the use of Variables like the "current user display name" in the E-Mail Template.
It has some other killer features, too, like sending whole Issues to some external address via E-Mail.
I wonder if you still are looking for automatic predefined signatures support?
I'm a UX Designer in the team behind Canned Response Templates Pro for Jira app.
Apart from supporting canned responses themselves, we are soon going to add advanced support specifically for signatures in Cloud.
Would you like to get a sneak peak of the upcoming features and give some feedback?
I'll be more than happy to demo the app for you and learn more about your use case. :)
@Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_thanks for clarification. I'm happy that it works for you!
In case you would like to check it out – we've just released the advanced Signatures functionality in Canned Responses.
You can learn more about it in the documentation.
Feel free to check it out. Also please reach out if we can assist you anyhow.
We still plan to iterate and improve it – your feedback and suggestions will be much appreciated. :)
