How do you report on "Affected Services"?

Derek Shore November 22, 2024

We use the Services asset objects to define and categorize our tickets. I'm trying to build a dashboard to show a report based on the linked services via the Affected Services field. I can't find how to do it. I see the other custom asset fields I've created, but I can't seem to report on them. Even when I go through the Assets reports, I can't seem to find a way to show me a report.

I want a report that shows me the list of services, sorted by who has the most linked issues with the issue count. Then to drill down to see the request types and a breakdown by that.

Hi @Derek Shore you can report on Affected Services using marketplace apps, such as our own Dashboard Hub Pro

Dashboard Hub Pro empowers you to create Jira custom charts with the Affected Services field. There are many View Types that you can select according to your preference.

Additionally, Dashboard Hub Pro provides a "AQL Search" gadget that pulls data from Atlassian Assets.

These dashboards (and single charts) can be exported to CSV, XLSX, PNG - and also accessed by users without a Jira license thanks to public, password-protected links.

I hope it helps :) Remember that you have a free trial of 30 days to try the app.
