I've changed my query to include sub-tasks, and I've enabled global ranking. However, sub-tasks don't appear as nested within their parent issues. In fact, they don't appear on the board at all. Not sure what I'm missing, but I have a couple ideas:
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes, the sub tasks need to have their associated statuses represented on a column on the board. If "checked in" is a status for a sub task, but that status isn't associated with any columns on the board, then any sub task in that status won't show on the board.
Regarding swimlanes - if your swimlanes are based on a custom field, and only the parent has that value, then (assuming you fixed the first issue) all of your sub tasks will appear in the "everything else" swimlane. I'd recommend adding the custom field to your sub tasks, and possibly exploring automatically copying the value from the parent to the sub task (I know there are plugins out there to help with this, if I find one I'll update my response).
Is there any response at all to this?
