I currently use MS Word to take notes during customer interviews, and am learning how to use JPD ideas to organize this feedback into actionable plans. I understand that "insights" is the correct place to store data that supports or provides more detail about an idea.
I'd like to add snippets or quotes from interview notes as insights. I understand that I can simply copy and paste text from Word into JPD as insights. Is there a more elegant way to use Confluence to take notes and link specific blocks of text to an insight? Or should I just bite the bullet and use copy and paste?
I like the idea of memorializing interview notes as raw data and parsing them into insights that support ideas.
Hi @William Long , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
I like your idea about creating insights to take notes about your interviews. I would say this is a good use of Jira Product Discovery but not necessarily the correct use, as that is the one that works best for you.
The only thing I would add is that you can also create other attributes / custom fields against which you can rank different candidates. In this way, you can ensure you're judging all of the candidates or rows against the same attributes.
Best wishes
