I want to create a test case but while creating I cant see the option Test in the issue Type can some one help me on this
Welcome to the community!
If you are looking for an application that can meet your requirements, that is, you would like the test case to be in the form of a Jira issue, you can check out the QAlity Plus - Test Management for Jira application. The app was created by my team.
Once you install and configure the app you can start creating your test cases that include the Test Management. Because of that you can directly add your test data in the QAlity Test issue type. Please take a look:
Because our test case is a type of a Jira issue you can perform the actions with your test cases as a normal Jira issues like cloning, linking, adding labels etc.
Our application not only allows you to create test cases, but gives you a lot of other capabilities like creating a test cycle, organizing tests in a repository, displaying execution or traceability reports, etc.
If you have any questions feel free to contact us here or if you'd like us to show you a demo of our app book a session with us here.
Remember that you can always try the app for free during the 30-days trial period.
Kind regards,
Michał

Hi @Michał Kowalewski_SolDevelo , thanks for sharing this option. You might want to add a vendor lozenge to your name as described here - Atlassian-Community-online-guidelines-Marketplace-Solution

Hi @ramya goparaju , there isn't a default "test case" issue type. You could create such an Issuetype and define the various fields you need. However, you need to assess what your requirements are and determine if Jira can natively achieve them. You may need to consider an addon test management app.
