How can I put an issue in multiple releases?

I have issues which are part of multiple releases within a project. I have releases for:

  • a regular product increment
  • a topic-specific set of features within the same product

e.g. product release 1.1 contains features A, B, C . On the other hand, for topic FOO we need features A + D , so these are also in release "FOO 1.0".

Portfolio is basically capable to give an outlook for both views.

Unfortunately I see no way to assign an issue to both releases.  In the scope view I can only select one release.

I can fake this when assigning the releases in regular Jira by assigning multiple fixVersions, but that change is quickly overwritten in Portfolio.

Anyone know whether there is a way to do this or how to solve this differently?
