Goals don't show in the Dashboard, despite having the field filled in

Hey all,

I am experimenting with Goals and created a few themes that I assign to the different projects we work on. On the Dashboard showing completed projects I add the Goals column, but it remains empty despite the field in the ticket being filled in. I know it is in Beta but wondering if it's a bug or if I am doing something wrong?

Hi @Nirit Michaeli,

I am seeing the same behaviour in my test instance. While the goals are visible on the issue view, the goals field is not visible in filter results or dashboard gadgets.

That is also documented in this feature request: JRACLOUD-84466. So you're definitely not doing anything wrong 😉

Just to be clear - I am not trying to search by goal, but just to have the content of the field showing in the dashboard. The dashboard is showing a filter that's based on other criteria, I did not include Goals in it. Does this change the answer at all? :)

No, it doesn't change the answer 😛 - in the description field on the ticket I linked, there is an additional update describing the behaviour you see:

Dashboard gadgets use the result of a JQL search / filter, so this is very much related.
