Filters: Epic and Issue Summary

Claudia Contreras September 13, 2024

Hello -

Trying to create a filter for a JWM team-project, I would like to display in one column the Epic Summary - in our case the Epic Summary contains the campaign name.

Then, on the adjacent column the issues associated with the Epic, I realize this will generate one row per issue.

I have the issue types listed but if it's a sub-task the parent is then the task issue type not the Epic - Epic Link is grayed out and can't add that to filters - is that right? What am I missing here?

Hi @Claudia Contreras,

Can you share a screenshot of what you are describing and elaborate a bit more on what exactly you are trying to do?

You tagged your question as referring to Jira Service Management, are trying to add a filter to a work management project using epics, which are essentially a Jira Software concept. A visual would significantly help us help you, I think.
